AT 409 Class Poster

To build off of our group poster templates that were created a few weeks ago, we joined together as a whole class to create a poster. Our goal was to work together to create a product that fairly represents our major, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and show off a bit of our research groups' capstone projects. My individual contributions to the poster span multiple areas of the poster. First and foremost, I set up and created the picture of our fleet. I also wrote the captions for every image. The research group I am in, Search and Rescue, collaborated with one another to play a very large role as well. We wrote the introduction in the center above the fleet, as well as the explanations for High Resolution Imagery, the GIS section, and the Search and Rescue section.

The class considered a few different topics for the poster, but eventually landed on why UAS is a good choice for prospective students. This degree path is focused on unmanned vehicles, and has a broad range of skills taught; from hardware, to software, to data processing, and analysis. The poster below details the work we've done over the past year. This poster will be proudly displayed outside of Dr. Hupy's office, and gives our program the opportunity to be seen by many people. We are confident this exposure will help us to continue growing as a major.
